Mac Miller To Feature On The Free National's Self-Titled Album

The Free Nationals album will also feature Kali Uchis, Daniel Caesar, and more.

The Free Nationals are getting ready to release their forthcoming self-titled album. After premiering their new song, "Beauty & Essex" this morning on Zane Lowe's Beats1 show, they revealed a few names that are set to appear on the project including the late-Mac Miller.

The Free Nationals hit up Zane Lowe's Beats1 show to premiere their latest single, "Beauty & Essex" off their upcoming project which features Toronto crooner Daniel Caesar and Unknown Immortal Orchestra. The Free Nationals album will also feature Chronixx, Benny Sings and Syd from The Internet, but they also a posthumous collaboration with Mac Miller that's set to appear on the album.

"We got Kali Uchis, with you know, our brother Mac Miller," Callum Connor said. "Yeah, yeah, it's very special man. It's a little hard to listen to but you know."

"He was a gift to us, man. It really helps the whole overall album, the feel and his contribution is amazing man," Jose Rios added.

Sunday marked one month since Mac Miller's passing. The late rapper was found dead at 26 years old from an apparent overdose, although the medical examiner has yet to confirm his exact cause of death. 

Mac's mother announced a benefit concert in honor of her late son which is set to take place on Halloween. The proceeds from the show will go to the Mac Miller Circles fund. Anderson .Paak, ScHoolboy Q, SZA, Earl Sweatshirt, Travis Scott, Chance The Rapper and more are set to perform as well.
