Kevin Gates is one of the most consistent artists out right now. Whenever he drops, you know it'll be worth listening to. One thing that is no longer consistent about him, though, is his look. Throughout his career, Gates has fluctuated in weight as he got fit in prison. When he was released earlier this year, the Baton Rouge rapper revealed that he works out twice a day and eats only one meal, which explains why he looks so different than before. Now, it's not just his body that's experiencing changes because Gates got his hair dyed to try and keep up with the times.

During a trip to Cairo, Egypt, Gates decided to experiment with his hair color. Instead of getting his usual line-up, the artist opted to go blond. Upon seeing the end result, he seems pretty happy, or at least he seems as happy as Kevin Gates can look. He wrote on Instagram that he "customized" and colored his hair while in Egypt. Forgive me for my ignorance but wouldn't any haircut be customized... Like, nobody else has the same hair as you. Regardless, Gates' fans are making sure to tell him how they feel about the new style. He was compared to Chris Brown and asked to rinse out the color in the comments; fans do not seem to be digging the blond.
