Do you want Netflix to make a "God of War" show?

Last year, gamers around the world were shocked and excited by the news that Netflix was working on a show called God of War. A meme, that has since been discerned as fake news, described a series based on Kratos starring Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones' Khal Drogo and Justice League's Aquaman). For those who actually ventured over to Netflix and searched "God of War," a different film popped up. Based on the Ming Dynasty, the God of War series on Netflix has nothing to do with Kratos.

Although there is no God of War series in development right now, the director of the game, Cory Barlog, took to Twitter to reveal that he would like to see one made. He retweeted an article that dispelled the fake news about the series, and included a simple message to Netflix. "True. This is not happening," he revealed. "I wonder if we should do something about that @Netflix," he added. Netflix, who has scooped up almost any show or movie possible to build their catalog, would be smart to partner with God of War. The most recent game in the series received perfect scores from almost every gaming publication and broke several sales records for the PlayStation 4 when it dropped earlier this year.
