For those of you unaware, Future signed on to produce the soundtrack for the upcoming film SuperFly, which is a Sony remake to the 1972 blaxploitation crime drama. The film is set to star Trevor Jackson & Jason Mitchell, with famous music video director X serving as the film’s director. With the movie set to his theaters June 9th, the soundtrack will be dropping right around then, and to pick up the promo for it Future decided to come through Tuesday night and tease a new single for it with PartyNextDoor called “No Shame.” And by tease I mean a 10-second instrumental snippet.
Future tweeted out the snippet for the song late Tuesday, but didn’t clarify when we’ll be able to hear the full product. However, Genius suggests that the song could be dropping later today (5/2) on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show, but we'll have to wait and see.
“Now its a new life, I found a new high/ Now its a new life, I found a new high/ Tomorrow’s a new light, tomorrow’s a new light” the lyrics read.
