Drake has officially shared his wide-ranging mix of "Scorpion" influences, including Gunna, Lil Baby & more.

Crafting a project is an alchemical task. It's no surprise that many ingredients are necessary for the finished product. Often times, artists draw inspiration from one another, with many an unlikely muse emerging in the process. As Drake has, by his own admission, "settled into the role of the good guy," he quickly took to Instagram to pay homage to the albums he kept in rotation during the Scorpion sessions.

Taking to Instagram to broadcast his praise, Drizzy threw up a variety of inspirations in his Instagram story. Confirming himself to be a staunch member of the #FreeGreedo movement, Drizzy's collection of must-plays feels like equal parts trap, hipster, and island based; in some ways, emblematic of Drake in a microcosm. The albums and or/singles that got the co-sign were as follows:

Smiley_61st - Buy. or. Bye
2PacAll Eyez On Me
Booggz - The Suite Life 101
Loski - Call Me Loose
Octavian - Hands
03 Greedo - "Sweet Lady"
GunnaDrip Season 3
Tekno - "Jogodo"
Starboy - "Soco" ft. Wizkid, Ceeza Milli, Spotless, Terri
Sheck Wes - "Chippi Chippi"
Flipp Dinero - "Leave Me Alone"
Nai Palm - Needle Paw
Notorious B.I.G. - Life After Death
Brent Faiyaz - "Make Luv"
Ama Lou - "Tbc"
Lil Baby - Harder Than Ever
City Girls - Period
