Over the years, Belaire has become the go-to champagne for rappers. Since Rick Ross' helped popularize the drink in his many songs as well as coining the "Black Bottle Boys" label, rappers and others in the entertainment industry have chosen the champagne as their celebratory drink. Along with Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Steve Aoki have pledged their allegiance to the drin. Now, it looks like a certain Harlem emcee joins them as a their new global ambassador.

Dave East is officially a "Gold Bottle Boy" as he signs on as Luc Belaire's new global ambassador. The rapper broke the news through social media and Billboard earlier today. It's a big step for East who recently released Paranoia 2and is currently embarking on its supporting tour. The rapper said that Belaire actually played a pivotal role in some of his earlier projects such as No Regrets and Gemini.

"I did a few mixtapes off the Belaire, to be honest." He told them.

Brett Berish, CEO of Sovereign Brands, revealed why East was chosen as a global ambassador for the iconic champagne.

"We like people who are beating their own drum, who are off on their own doing their own thing. Dave is that guy," Berish said.

It's another incredible moment for East as he continues to pave his own lane in the rap game. In addition to his P2 record he just released, he also announced plans to drop a mixtape alongside Don Q. Keep your eyes peeled for that.
