On July 10th, Cardi B and Offset welcomed their baby girl into the world and announced it on Instagram with a photo of pregnant Cardi looking fabulous. She probably looked fantastic while giving birth too, since just 24 hours before she was seen at a hair salon in Atlanta getting her hair done.
As we know, their little girl's name is Kulture Kiari Cephus. The first name coming from the previous Migos albums (but with a K) and the second and third name being Offset's given name. There's already been a lot of reactions online (we even rounded up some of best for your laughing pleasure) but when it comes to the reasoning for the name, Cardi tells it plain and simple: "Anything else woulda been basic."
Cardi's definitely not wrong, and with the previous celebrity baby names that have come our way - Chicago, Stormi and more - how could we be surprised.
A few months back Cardi talked about going on tour as a new mom and explained her perfect set up. "What I envision is my tour bus has my own personal room, and I just want to be with my baby," she said. "Only time I don't have my baby with me is when I'm getting my hair done, makeup done, performing." She adds, dreamily, "I don't want to miss one second. I don't want to miss no smiles, I don't want to miss no new movement, I don't want the baby to confuse me and the babysitter."
