"Everyone In the room that night lied on his behalf , the hotel sold the tapes."

We recently posted about Vince Staple's Twitter rant where he suggested that journalist should not be able to write about hip-hop until they prove what kind of furniture they have in their home. Among other tweets about Lil Yachty and Donald Glover's Atlanta, Vince shared his opinion on Russell Crowe allegedly spitting on Azealia Banks.

"YALL LET RUSSELL CROWE SPIT AT AZEALIA BANKS BUT IF TYLER PERRY SPIT AT TAYLOR SWIFT IT WOULD BE NO MORE MEDEAS MOVIES. LOL BUT IM SERIOUS," he tweeted.

Azealia has seen Vince's statement and followed-up explaining how "Everyone In the room that night lied on his behalf."

"It’s insane that he really got away with that. I’m really not over it, it’s definitely a thorn in my side plus all of the public humiliation caused by RZA saying I lied just really made and makes it worse," she captioned a screenshot of Vince's tweet.

The incident happened after RZA invited Azealia to a private event at the Beverly Hills Hotel in 2016. The Wu-Tang Clan alum explained his side of the story saying the rapper was “insulting half the room”

“Azealia threatened to cut a girl in the face with a glass, then actually grabs a glass and physically attacks for no logical reason. Russell blocked the attack and expelled her from the suite," he said

Of course, Azealia's story has been quite the opposite. Read her full Instagram post below.
