Adrien Broner tries to steal Tekashi's thunder.

Adrien Broner has added fuel to the war of wars with "NY Kingpin" Tekashi 6ix9ine. The feud began as Tekashi referred to the boxer as a clown in the comment section of his Instagram post. Adrien Broner a pugilist by trade, was quick to counter with a video sussing out his competition. That video was met with harsh words from Tekashi, who called on the boxer to "check in" upon arrival in NYC. It so happens, Broner is making an appearance in the ring against highly touted welterweight Jessie Vargas at the Barclays Center this Saturday. Tekashi felt a need to wager 300 stacks on the outcome of the fight, a number Broner seemed willing to match.

Broner latest jaunt in the ongoing feud hits close to home. The boxer visited the Trax NY showroom where Tekashi had his custom jewelry commissioned, and made a "100k purchase." He then exclaimed "I only came here because 6ix9ine was here," before shaking hands with the owner who retorted that "business is business," before reposting the video on his shop's Instagram page. Their handshake proves beyond reasonable doubt the underlying factors behind every interaction, so don't take it personally. Tekashi has a lot less on the line this weekend. Adrien Broner would be better suited focusing on overturning his spotty record. He is quickly becoming a gatekeeper in the eyes of many boxing fans.
