Reverand Al Sharpton, Meek's mother, and his lawyer will be at the UPenn panel.

Meek Mill's case continues to unravel before our eyes as he is hopefully released from prison soon. The Philadelphia rapper is currently in prison for violating his probation, but new developments in his case showing that his arresting officer is on a list of "corrupt cops" may deter things in favor of his release. The city of Philadelphia, as well as most of America, is rooting for Meek to be freed as a panel will be held next week by students of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as social justice leaders from Philly to speak about the criminal justice system and Meek Mill's case.

Aptly named REFORM: Bringing Injustice to Light, the speakers look to raise awareness on the growing issues of social and criminal injustice in America and, precisely, Pennsylvania. Among those who will attend the rally are Meek's mother, his lawyer Joe Tacopina and Reverand Al Sharpton. You'll recall Sharpton visiting Meek near the beginning of his 2-to-4 year sentence; he now continues his support for the artist by joining the conference's panel to discuss issues in the criminal justice system, specifically in Philadelphia.

Meek continues to serve his sentence despite evidence of corruption in his case. The panel will take place on March 13 and 14. For those unable to attend in person, you will be able to show your support for Meek via a live-stream on Tidal.
