Trippie doesn't agree.

KSI is putting an old collaboration on blast, and Trippie Redd is not letting it slide. During a recent interview, the YouTuber-turned-rapper was asked to name his least favorite artist he has worked with. Without much hesitation, he pointed to Trippie, recalling their time filming the video for “Wake Up Call.”

“I’d probably say Trippie Redd,” KSI said. “I remember when we filmed the music video ‘Wake Up Call,’ he was like seven, eight hours late. He was very late. And he came to the shoot and he stayed in the car and was just smoking away. I was like, bro, what are you doing? It came to the point where I just didn’t want him to be there.”

KSI went on to contrast the experience with his work alongside creators from the YouTube space, suggesting personality and on-camera presence play a bigger role there.

“Compared to like a musician and actor, with YouTubers you have to be likable because you’re in the camera all the time,” he added.

Trippie Redd soon caught wind of the remarks and responded publicly. Making it clear he did not appreciate being singled out. Though his reply was brief, the tone suggested lingering tension over how the situation was being framed years later.

KSI Says Trippie Redd Was Difficult To Work With

“N---as be talkin about I’m hard to work with… n---a you hard to listen to, burger," Trippie said on his IG story.

“Wake Up Call” dropped back in 2020 during KSI’s early run of rap collaborations as he transitioned from YouTube stardom into music. At the time, the pairing with Trippie marked one of his more high-profile hip-hop linkups.

With both artists now reacting, what started as a throwback story has turned into a fresh round of back-and-forth, proving even years-old memories can resurface and spark new friction.
