Azealia Banks stirs the pot on social media again.

From co-workers on a film that will be making its theatrical debut in December to two hip-hop personalities who more than likely won't ever work together again - the beef between Azealia Banks and RZA just got real.

The Wu-Tang Clan member just directed a new movie called Love Beats Rhymes, which boasts Azealia Banks as one of the key cast members. From what you can discern in the trailer, Coco (played by Banks) takes a poetry class to help with her budding lyrical flow as an artist. Though she fails to initially impress her teacher (Jill Scott), she soon finds her way to an underground-styled poetry slam where she attempts to finally realize her full potential. The uplifting movie, backed by Lionsgate, seemed to have fostered an amicable relationship between Banks and RZA. "I'm extremely excited and vigorously inspired to be working with Azealia Banks in my new directorial installment," he stated previously. "Producer Paul Hall and I have assembled a cool and eclectic cast to surround Azealia. Our story, which is set in today's contemporary youth culture, will bring a new voice to cinema that needs to be heard.”

However, during a radio spot that he did with Mathematics (which you can see above), RZA's answer to a question about Banks' alleged fight with Russell Crowe ignited this new wave of social media drama coming from the newly-minted lead actress. The altercation, which supposedly led to Crowe spitting on Banks, was not given any further background details by RZA. Instead, he praised Banks' ability as a performer, especially when it comes to the new film, but Banks wasn't having any of it. She took to social media and ranted about the Wu leader's insistence on mentioning her name in the news.

"RZA has to stop talking about me in the media," she began. "Until he is ready to apologize to me publicly he can go back to sucking Russell Crowe's d**k for invites to Hollywood parties." The diatribe didn't stop there, with Banks adding that "nobody understands how badly I wanted to die the moment RZA lied and told the world I deserved to be spat [...]No one understands the amount of pain that came with and after that incident." She concluded that she just wants to be respected and left out of his interviews, ending things off in a blunt fashion: "RZA I hope you drop dead."

What do you think? Azealia Banks' beef with RZA fair or foul? Let us know in the comments.
