The last we heard from Boosie Badazz was on his December project BooPac but whenever he decides to drop, it's always a decent amount of music. Boosie has been in the game for a minute, always releasing quality stuff and, it seems like since fighting cancer in 2016, he's stepped his game up a notch. Grateful for every day he has, the Baton Rouge superstar has released the Boonk Gang mixtape where he raps over some of the hottest beats today.
The 20-song mixtape has some highs and some lows but, for the most part, it shows off some of Boosie's unmistakable talent. On tracks like "Shoot 'Em," "Catching The Fade," and "God Is Great," the rapper shows off his ability while shouting out a number of his contemporaries. Showing love to Quality Control signees Offset, Takeoff and Quavo, as well as Nicki Minaj and others, Boosie has nothing but love for those in the game with him.
