Kodak Black and XXXTentacion are both substantially controversial characters in hip-hop, each for their respective run-ins with the law. Although both have been heavily critiqued in the past, it goes without saying that the state of Florida is strongly behind both of them, each developing sizable fanbases. Kodak is currently undergoing trial for marijuana and weapons charges that he has pleaded not guilty to, but there is a reason to celebrate as his Project Baby 2 single "Roll In Peace" has reached platinum status.
As Kodak and his legal team attempt to get the rapper free of any remaining charges, this can serve as a bright point for the Project Baby as his success on the collab with X could remind the Florida product to focus on advancing his career. The news was posted on London On Da Track's Instagram page, reminding his followers in the caption that in order to see more platinum plaques, Kodak needs to be freed. The record has certifiably sold over 1 million copies according to the achievement, although London claims that the track he produced is actually 3x platinum.
London On Da Track worked on three songs from Kodak's tape, creating some of the most memorable cuts off of Project Baby 2. Hopefully, the rapper's legal situation is sorted out quickly so we can hear some new music. For now, we're good bumping Heart Break Kodak.
