Gucci Mane seems to be winning on the daily. The Atlanta legend dropped Mr. Davis, his second album of the year today, and early impressions are looking favorable. The lean, clean, post-prison Guwop also recently hit a couple of new milestones; the rapper is set to marry Keyshia Ka'oir on October 17th, and last month, Gucci released his first book, The Autobiography Of Gucci Mane. While the book was met with some favorable reviews from critics, there was one who does not seem impressed with the rapper's literary endeavor - Gucci's former manager Debra Antney.
Antney, who is Waka Flocka Flame's mother and Gucci's former manager, recently revealed her thoughts on Gucci's book. Suffice it to say, they aren't entirely positive. In the book, Guwop explains that things went left between himself and Antney over the song "Make The Trap Say Aye," which Gucci claims to have recorded before he went to jail. Apparently, after Gucci was released, he discovered that Antney had given the track to OJ The Juiceman. Antney claims that Gucci's statement was simply "not true," and referenced "Make The Trap Say Aye" as OJ's record.
"The next thing I'm going to tell you is that Gucci didn't write that book in it's entirety," continues Antney. "Because half of the book is false. So if anybody know the history of where we all were, pay attention. He already tells you who he is in the book. She goes on the reiterate that "Make The Trap Say Aye" is OJ The Juiceman's, before adding "just like Brick Squad." Brick Squad, of course, is Gucci Mane's record label. In case you didn't know, Gucci previously hit Antney with a lawsuit claiming that she took control over Brick Squad without his permission.
