Brooklyn-based producer Conrad Clifton, known for a distinctive style that blends elements of Electronica, House & Hip-Hop has teamed up with rapper TRIMM for the duo’s collaborative “King of Dope” track.

"This collaboration was a chance to get back with one of my favorite artists I've worked with. Me and TRIMM did mad songs together when I lived in Atlanta. At that time, we were working with artists like The-Dream, Yelawolf, and Grip Playaz (RIP),” Conrad tells us of the track. “Since I moved to Brooklyn and started Infinity Pool Recordings, I always wanted to put out something with him.”

The cut is certainly proof of the two men’s range as Conrad reveals that the song came about when he revamped the backdrop, shaping it around vocals laid over another track originally released a couple of years ago. “I just wanted the beat to bang more, and be more "ahead of the game", so I made a whole new beat around his vocals and brought up the tempo a little. I love the way it came out.”

The new track is slated for a potential placement in the forthcoming Purge prequel, The First Purge. Before then, get acquainted here.

Quotable Lyrics:

N*gga watch your manners, better watch your manners
Boy, I'm from Atlanta, boy I'm from Atlanta
All my n*ggas carpenters how we sling them hammers
Nail his ass to the rug, God bless his family
