Logic has been steady working on a new novel.

Say what you will about Logic, but you can't deny that the Everybody scribe is a man of multiple talents. Not only is he an accomplished emcee with several albums and mixtapes under his belt, but Logic also possesses his own video game Youtube channel, tours on the regular, owns his own record label, and now, is making his first foray into the literary canon. In a recent tweet, Bobby Tarantino broke the news of his latest creative endeavor, which has been low key working on for a minute.

"I'm writing a novel," announces Logic, "Been working on it for a while I'm excited to share it with you when it's done!" It's always cool to see an emcee expanding his horizons, and while many rappers like Gucci Mane, Jay-Z, Eminem, Timbaland and more have worked on autobiographical books, it's rare to see an artist take the plunge into full-blown fiction. It's unclear what Logic will be writing about, nor when a potential completion date will arrive, but still, respect to Logic on this one.

Off the top, the only other rapper I can think of who wrote a novel was Styles P, who penned the street narrative "Invincible" back in 2010. If one had to guess, perhaps Logic will be exploring something in the science fiction genre, as his heavily conceptual Everybody album definitely leaned in that direction. Although, it could very well be a comedy, as Logic has self-proclaimed himself to be the rap game Larry David in the past, and has shown a zealot's enthusiasm toward LD brainchildren Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Hell, maybe we're looking at a straight up sci-fi comedy epic, like the hit Tim Allen driven film Galaxy Quest. Ultimately, only time will tell.

Check out the tweet below, and sound off. Will ya'll be checking for Logic's upcoming novel?
