Charlamagne recently claimed that Future should replace J. Cole in the big three.

Today, Future and Metro Boomin dropped their eagerly awaited new album, We Still Don't Trust You. The LP follows the duo's first collaborative album We Don't Trust You, which they unveiled just last month. Kendrick Lamar's appearance on "Like That" quickly went viral, as the MC dissed Drake and J. Cole. In his verse, he references “the big three,” which is commonly believed to be him, Drizzy, and Cole. "Motherf*ck the big three, n***a, it's just big me," he spits. Earlier this week, Charlamagne Tha God shared his own thoughts on the big three, revealing that he thinks Future deserves a spot too.

According to him, he's one of the most influential rappers of the past decade and surpasses J. Cole easily. “They talking about a Big Three but really there’s a Fantastic Four. If you really wanna get a little spicy, Future could be in the Big Three," he explained in an episode of Brilliant Idiots. “For better or worse, I can find a million Future clones all around the world. I don’t think there’s any rapper that’s influenced culture and music more than Future over the last decade. I think Future has influence. People wanna be Future, people wanna sound like Future.”

“I would have Drake, Future, Kendrick, personally,” he also added. “Statistically, if you’re talking about numbers and all of that, Future’s over Cole.” It looks like he appreciated the praise. He even used a sample of Charlamagne's compliment for the new album. The Breakfast Club host's voice appears on the track "#1 (Intro)."
