We're a month and some change removed from the release of Quality Contol's Control The Streets compilation, and today we've been gifted with the visuals for one of the efforts standouts "The Load," featuring Gucci Mane, and Atlanta upstarts Lil Baby and Marlo.
Produced by Da Honorable C.N.O.T.E., "The Load" is a clear showcase of a portion of Atlanta hip-hop's future as frequent collaborators Marlo and Lil Baby trade bars alongside Gucci. For the two young emcees, 2018 will hopefully mark yet another period of significance as the two continue to accelerate their momentum.
For Lil Baby, last year marked the release of his Perfect Timing, Harder Than Hard, and Too Hard projects, all the first products to come of his nascent career while Marlo produced his full-length The Wire effort. It's without a doubt that anyone keeping an eye on the South should be paying attention to the duo.
