It looks like 2024 will be a major year for former Brockhampton member Matt Champion, who dropped off his second solo offering of this month earlier this week. Towards the beginning of February, the performer teamed up with Dijon to unleash the melancholy single "Aphid." Now, the Texas-born performer has delivered yet another atmospheric track, "Slug."
The bright single also arrives alongside a creative accompanying music video, which sees the performer covered in slime, dancing in a clear plastic bubble in the woods. Eventually, he's joined by several other dancers, who confidently strut around him as he crawls around on the ground looking out of place. The fun, danceable track is grounded by heartfelt lyrics about pining for someone to love, and being willing to do anything to keep them around.

Quotable Lyrics:
I want someone
And that someone just happens to be you
I won't leave you
No matter what you do
Oh, ahhh, I just want your love
Oh, ahhh, won’t you be my slug?
