Two of hip-hops legendary figures will get the TV biography treatment.

With multiple posthumous TV projects on the horizon for both of them, it's never been a better time to have some well-worn nostalgia for the music and legacy both of The Notorious B.I.G and Tupac Shakur. That list just got longer, with A&E announcing that they will air two television specials that will share some in-depth insight into the lives of both hip-hop legends.

The television network will premiere Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G. as part of a relaunched biography series, which will run three hours long, and has been signed off on by his estate, a first in TV history. It will also be narrated by the late rapper himself through exclusive and never-before-heard interview footage, as well as those who were close to him.

As for Tupac, the network will air a six-part series titled Who Killed Tupac? The series will follow civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump as he conducts his investigation tinto the tragic murder of the icon 20 years later.

Hip-hop fans are also awaiting the release of the big screen biopic All Eyez On Me, which hits theaters next month. Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G.‘s first two hours will premiere on Wednesday, June 28 at 9 p.m., while Who Killed Tupac? will kick off right afterwards on Thursday, June 29 at 9 P.M.
