Migos have received plenty of blowback for controversial comments they made regarding iLoveMakonnen's sexuality in an interview with Rolling Stone last month. They made a public apology shortly after the interview was published, and they made some diplomatic comments when TMZ asked them about the controversy at LAX.
"Choose your route, man, be yourself. It's cool to be yourself." Offset said.
"We make good music together, I done made music with Makonnen, Frank Ocean, we all make great music," Quavo added.
They all agreed that the outrage was blown out of proportion, and when asked if they would ever perform at a gay club, Offset didn't seem to keen on the idea, but Takeoff chimed in, "If the bag long enough."
Makonnen had harsh words for Migos in a Fader profile published last week. “With friends like these, who needs enemies?" he said. "And now you gotta come back with some sorry ass excuse. Nah. That’s only cause you got the #1 record and you didn’t wanna fuck it up.”
