Nef The Pharaoh is a rising star out of the west coast. The young rapper pairs his youthful attitude with an old school flow and high energy, bringing his own sound to the west coast's renaissance. For several years, his name has not only been bubbling up within the Bay Area but has launched his career throughout the country. He's worked with the likes of D.R.A.M, YG, Ty Dolla $ign, Snoop Dogg and many others. He's been poppin' up on a lot of guest features recently but today, he drops off a new freestyle.

Nef The Pharaoh's always had bounce within his flow and the production he chooses. Today, the "My Way" freestyle has him on a much more soulful path. It's still a braggodocious effort but Nef The Pharaoh opens up about his life. Phaaoh kicks off the song with a bit more melody to his style before jumping in full force with an off-kilter, bouncy flow. While it may be just a freestyle, it's always nice to get new music from Nef whenever he decides to drop.

Aside from dropping his "My Way" freestyle, he released his first debut album this year with The Chang Project. It was a pretty big move for the rapper. Released through E-40's Sick Wid It Records, the rapper had features from some pretty solid up-and-comers as well as some bigger names. Ty Dolla $ign makes an appearance on the project as well as OMB Peezy and Mozzy. It's definitely going to be interesting to see what he gets up to next.

Quotable Lyrics
I hit milly with that rock and have your shooter Harlem Shakin'
I don't do no pork but I bet you I leave em bacon
Free my uncle, rapper Craigin and fuck the time that he is facin'
Demon with some water on my body, I think I'm Jason
