6lack and J. Cole got some heat on the way.

It's been nearly two years since the release of 6lack's debut album, Free 6lack. The one project put 6lack in a league of his own with his moody blend of hip-hop and R&B. 6lack created a massive hype for himself with Free 6lack without having any features on the project (with the exception of the deluxe version which featured Banks & T-Pain). With East Atlanta Love Letter set to drop at the end of the week, 6lack has now shared a snippet of an upcoming track off of the project.

Although the tracklist for East Atlanta Love Letter hasn't dropped yet, J. Cole is a confirmed guest feature on the project. Earlier today, 6lack confirmed that J. Cole's vocals finally came in for their collaboration and he gave fans a snippet of what to expect. The track is slow and moody. 6lack shared a snippet of his hook and a few bars from J. Cole's verse. It's not a lot but it's enough to indicate that it's sounding fire.

Aside from his Cole collaboration, 6lack's took on a different approach on the rollout for his forthcoming project. He shared the release date with fans through customized postcards that he sent to 25,000 fans with the cover art and "Can I Ask You A Question About Love" written on the back. Yesterday, he shared a short video that featured Elton John, Majid Jordan, Davido and more answering the question that was initially printed on the postcards.
