August was arguably the best month for releases in 2017, thusfar. We've received some of the most anticipated albums of the year, some incredible mixtapes and overall, a slew of great projects. You'd be lying as a hip hop head to say that there wasn't at least one project each week that was deserving of at least a listen.

August served as an exciting month for hip hop but now that it's done, we reflect on which project is deemed the best. There's been a diverse amount of releases for everyone's musical liking. Between A$AP Mob's "AWGEST" stretch which included projects from Ferg, Twelvyy and the Mob, Lil Uzi dropping his highly anticipated Luv Is Rage 2Dave East's major label debut Paranoia: A True Story and Lil B's release of his long-awaited Black Ken, the past month has had some projects that are likely to land on a few year end lists.

With September rolling around now, the true question is: who had the best project of August 2017?

Vote below and let us know what you think.
