It's been well over a decade since Kimora Lee Simmons filed for divorce from her ex, Russell Simmons. Nevertheless, the Baby Phat designer still finds herself stressed out due to his antics. On Monday (June 19), she felt compelled to share her story with social media, alleging that her co-parent has been abusing their youngest daughter, 20-year-old Aoki Lee Simmons. "I'm so sorry to have to do this. But this man has been threatening my kids' lives. I'm hearing so much more now. We won't be bullied, threatened, or afraid," Kimora declared.
On the next slide of her Instagram Story, the 48-year-old shared a screen recording taken during Aoki's FaceTime call with her dad. He's in an obviously angry mood as he screams away into the phone. The video has been muted, likely for privacy, but still, the intensity in Russell's energy radiates through the screen. In one more post, Kimora gave more context by unveiling a text message form Aoki to her father. "Dad, I stopped talking to you because you were giving me panic attacks," she told him. Afterward, the model explained that things have been so bad she's been put on emergency medication more than once.

Kimora Lee Simmons Calls Out Her Ex
"Every time I spoke to you, you would yell and scream about a legal situation that I can't even respond to because I AM NOT INVOLVED," the young woman expressed to Russell. "I am your child, not your lawyer, your ex-wife, any of it. I can do nothing. Yet you yell at me like it's my fault," Aoki continued before telling her father that his "anger, rage, cursing, and screaming" being placed on her is "not fair."
As the unexpected news continues to circulate online, the Harvard graduate hopped on Live to share her side of the story. While she was emotionally venting her feelings, Russell joined the stream to apologize to his daughter in the comments. Elsewhere, lip readers have been closely analyzing the muted video of him yelling, and so far, believe that he admits to being broke near the end of the footage.
