I know we’ve been hearing it for a while now, since September to be exact, but Playboi Carti’s highly anticipated debut mixtape finally looks to be on the way. On Thursday night, the buzzing ATL rapper was spotted in the studio with Metro Boomin, and hinted to fans on social media that he’s dropping Like Lean soon. According to Metro' tweet, XO artist Nav may have also been in the studio.
“Abut to drop like lean $” wrote Carti on Snapchat, with Metro posting the pic to IG and captioning it, “CA$H CARTI TOLD ME TO TELL U ITS TIME.”
Unfortunately, there’s no official release date set, but Carti did give fans a taste of what the duo cooked up in the studio Thursday night to hold us over.
