The Atlanta MC replied to a fan account begging for his whereabouts.

About five months since he took his controversial plea deal that got him out of the YSL RICO case, Gunna is still quiet on the musical front. However, he recently hinted through a simple Instagram comment that he won't stay quiet for long. Moreover, the Atlanta rapper replied to a fan account's Instagram post that read, "Gunna where tf are you?" with the iconic blue "P" emoji. "I'm OTW [blue "P" emoji]," the Drip Season MC replied in the comments section. With that, fans hope that he makes his return on wax soon, and those disappointed with his "snitching" look forward to seeing how (or if) he addressed the situation and moves past it.

Of course, that whole debacle is complex and impossible for the general public to truly make heads or tails out of. Sure, snitching allegations came quick, as well as subtle or overt condemnations from his hip-hop peers. Still, one can't deny that this kind of discussion only creates more anticipation around Gunna's next release. The most recent development in that arena was Young Thug's Instagram account linking to his album DS4EVER, and then removing it. It's unclear if the YSL collaborators are on good terms, and that IG bio link and its subsequent removal only made things murkier.

Gunna Says He's On The Way

Regardless, this isn't the first time that Gunna hinted at his return, whether inadvertently or otherwise. For example, a song snippet surfaced online back in March of this year where he said he'll "fight it out" in his bars. While this hints at an elaboration of his plea deal, it's also one of those bars that could mean anything. No matter what direction he takes, his next move will likely determine whether he's here to stay in the rap game or if audiences leave him behind as a result of public backlash.

Meanwhile, other updates on Gunna's status came from some industry sources. "I mean, we don’t really talk about a personal type of things but he’s doing good," Chlöe remarked of her relationship with the 29-year-old. "I always wish him the best. He’s always been a dear friend of mine so I want to make sure he’s okay." For more updates and the latest news on Gunna, stay logged into HNHH.
