Gervonta Davis receives high priced gift after recent victory.

Gervonta Davis continued his boxing legacy this past weekend. Davis earned his 29th professional victory over Ryan Garcia on Saturday. The fight ended after a brutal body shot from Davis sent Garcia to one knee on the canvas. Garcia couldn't answer the referee's ten count, and the bout was called. The bad blood between the two looked to be immediately squashed in the post-fight announcement in the ring. Davis earned the title of a lightweight king with his victory,

However, as the old saying goes, to the victor goes the spoils. Davis is now celebrating his big victory with those who support him. Gumbo Brands, a cannabis partner of Davis, sent the boxing star a massive gift for his victory. The brand sent Davis a $250,000 pendant and chain for his performance on Saturday. However, that isn't the only thing the brand is doing for Davis. The cannabis brand will also be releasing a new strain of cannabis in honor of Davis.

The Legend Of Gervonta Davis Continues To Grow

After his performance on Saturday, the legend of "Tank" Davis continues to grow. In his last five fights, only one has gone the distance. In that matchup, Davis earned a unanimous decision victory over Isaac Cruz. The other four fights all ended in KO or TKO for the king of the lightweights. Davis is further proof that the myth of boxing is dead. Boxing continues to hit all the right notes for its biggest events. As well as even prized fights like Jake Paul and Nate Diaz.

While it seems like the beef has been settled between Davis and Garcia, there were still issues in the post-fight. Oscar De La Hoya, who was in the corner of Garcia, had to swiftly leave the arena after the bout. According to De La Hoya, his team claims that the boxing legend was receiving death threats at the arena. The build-up for the fight saw many dust-ups between Davis' and Garcia's camps. However, now Gervonta Davis has proven to be the better of the two inside the ring. For the latest news in sports, keep it right here with HNHH.
