Fivio Foreign is hinting towards his return to full solo work, and this time with a recurring but currently controversial collaboration. Moreover, the New York rapper's recent Instagram post features him in the studio, and the teased track at the end is a collab with none other than Kanye West. If you've been at all online over the past few months, you know that the Chicago legend is currently facing a lot of public scrutiny and criticism for his bigoted and problematic remarks concerning Nazis, the Jewish people, and a few other antics. Despite that public backlash, it seems that Fivio still wanted to show fans what they cooked up in the studio.

Their collaborations range from Fivio Foreign tapping Ye for the dramatic drill anthem "City Of Gods" to the two's previous Donda track "Off The Grid," plus Fivio's ad-libs on a couple of tracks on that album. Along those same lines, this tease is a slower-tempo drill track with some dramatic pianos and heavy bass leading the way for the 33-year-old's verse. While time will tell whether the track ends up releasing given Kanye's behavior, at least fans know that the two could keep up their quality collaborative streak.

Kanye West Assists Fivio Foreign In New Song Tease

Still, it does open up an interesting conversation on how Kanye's artistry will manifest in other collaborators' work. From what recent releases indicate, it seems that his hand in creating a track doesn't necessarily give it the negative context his movement exists in at the moment. For example, Tyler, The Creator recently included the Ye-produced "HEAVEN TO ME" on his latest release, The Estate Sale. With time slowly providing peace of mind for many fans that were disappointed with Kanye's downfall, maybe a more benign presence will still be felt on other artists' material.

Back to Fivio, though, he worked hard to give fans a peek at what's to come after he had to cancel his Rolling Loud California performance. Furthermore, he told Meek Mill that he's dropping something in April, so maybe this is the month we see Fivio Foreign's hard work pay off. Until that day comes, however, at least fans can wonder what this teased Kanye West collab would've done for the game if released. Despite the controversy around it, its release isn't out of the question. Regardless, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Kanye West and Fivio Foreign.
