<p>Avril Lavigne linked up with <a href="/profile/Tyga" class="text-word" target="_blank" >Tyga</a> at the Courrèges show during Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday. The meet-up comes amid rumors that the two have begun dating following <a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/636056-avril-lavigne-mod-sun-call-off-engagement-report" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lavigne&#8217;s recent split from Mod Sun</a>. The two singers made their split official last week, which came as a shock to Mod Sun.</p>



<p>Despite being seen with Tyga on multiple occasions now, A source for <em>PEOPLE</em> says that they are just friends: “Avril and Tyga are genuinely friends and nothing more. There was absolutely no third party involved in the split.”</p>

<p>Reflecting on their breakup on Instagram, Tuesday, Mod Sun tried to remain optimistic. “In 1 week my entire life completely changed…I just know there’s a plan for it all,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken [broken heart emoji]. Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing. I have the best friends in the entire world, thanks for always having my back. See you on stage.” When reports began to surface about their breakup, a representative for the singer said in a statement: “They were together and engaged as of 3 days ago when he left for tour so if anything has changed that’s news to him.”</p>



<p>Mod had recently included a track titled “Avril’s Song&#8221; about his love for Lavigne on his latest album,&nbsp;<em>God Save the Teen</em>. &#8220;She blew me a kiss, And I didn&#8217;t wanna blow my brains out anymore,&#8221; he sings. &#8220;And she is everything I&#8217;m not. Without her, I am lost.&#8221; The two also collaborated on the track “Shelter.” Lavigne and Mod Sun got engaged in 2022 while in Paris. Mod Sun spoke about their relationship during a recent interivew with <em>E! News</em>. “I have found such a partner in this world to go through the chaos that life gives you,” he told the outlet, before adding, “I have found that person. I’m with a real grown woman who has gone through it all 10 times over and she makes me a better person.”</p>
