The “Stanky Legg” rapper recalls the grim incident involving his girlfriend.

Surely everyone remembers 2008’s leg-alternating “Stanky Legg” dance, made popular by the Texas rap trio GS Boyz. Sadly, however, the group has made headlines this year for what could have been a deadly car accident back in January. The Shade Room Teens had the opportunity to speak with member Oh Boy Prince, who was involved in the gruesome ordeal. The incident occurred as the former Jive Records signee and his girlfriend headed to an early morning interview on January 6th.

According to Oh Boy Prince—real name Matthew Griffith—the couple were heading there on Interstate 30 in Dallas-Fort Worth. While in the far left lane, a brake pad detached from a nearby 18-wheeler and flew directly his way. The thick metal piece went through his windshield and struck him in the face before landing in his son’s car seat. Thankfully, they’d just dropped him off at school about 30 minutes before. “I just passed out,” Griffith remembers. His girlfriend, Unique Musick, took the wheel in an attempt to get them to the side of the road. Unique tells The Shade Room Teens her child was the only thing on her mind at the time. “All I could think about is my son being without his parents, so my main focus was getting us to safety as quickly as possible and getting Prince help,” she tells them.

According to the two, Oh Boy Prince suffered from fractured bones in his face and right eye socket. This resulted in three surgeries during his five-day stay at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. The Control Your Jealousy artist shares “they had to put plates in my face, and screws and wire in my jaw.” Traumatized by the experience, Unique Musick found solace through family and friends as she recapped it all online. She also created a GoFundMe account for the family, collecting nearly $1,500 for Prince’s medical expenses.

Investigators involved in the case are having a hard time deciphering whose truck the brake pad came off of. “No one has been charged in this incident or being held responsible,” Oh Boy prince relays to the interviewer. “I want justice.” The rapper’s attorneys told him the closest camera to the scene was unfortunately blocked off by a wall. All in all, the couple hopes all 18-wheelers will be thoroughly checked moving forward.
