Tom Brady still has belief in his abilities.

Tom Brady has officially retired from the NFL, and he has made it clear that he will not be coming back. Overall, this was a huge decision that not everyone was expecting. For instance, some felt like it was a given that he would end up going to the Las Vegas Raiders. However, Brady decided that football was no longer in the cards for him and that he would rather relax. In fact, Brady is so set on relaxing that he is only starting his Fox Sports deal in 2024.

Subsequently, Brady will be spending time with his kids, while also working on his Let's Go podcast. Recently, Brady even got to interview Bill Belichick on the show. It was an amazing conversation that was emotional for both men. Additionally, Brady got into his retirement and how in his mind, he can still play football at a high level. Although, he thinks now is the time to just step away, permanently.

“There’s always gonna be a part [of me] that wants to play and a part of me that, you know, feels like I can play,” Brady said. “I think there’s just a decision to know that it’s the right time. So I think for me it’s more of just, it’s gonna end at some point, and I think now’s the time. And it’s not that I can’t do it. It’s not that I wouldn’t want to do it. It’s not that I wouldn’t be excited to play. I love playing football. I’ve loved playing football since I was a kid on the street on Portola Drive. So I think it’s just a decision that it’s time to do other things.”

Initially, Brady said that he would only retire once he actually sucks at football. Now, however, it is clear that his priorities have changed. Besides, with seven Super Bowls to his name, it's not like he actually had anything to prove to anyone. Let us know what you thought of Brady's decision, in the comments below.
