Here's some highly exclusive sauce for your Friday evening. Two of the freshest voices in The Bay, Iamsu! and Kool John, have teamed up on a trap anthem produced by Ricky Racks, the guy behind Young Thug's "Best Friend" and Migos' "Can't Go Out Sad," to name just a couple. Today's song, "Back in the Pot," is actually Su and Ricky's second collab, following April's "Compound," also a HNHH exclusive. Who knew The Bay and The A could be such a potent combo.
"Back in the Pot" is a turn-up essential that finds the two Bay spitters kicking super wavy punchlines and rhythms over a blend of heavy bass and cheeky flutes from Ricky Racks. The track is mixed by Alex Tumay, who has worked on many of Thug's beloved projects as well as 21 and Metro's Savage Mode.
