It’s been a minute since J. Cole’s 2014 Forest Hill Drive dropped, but it’s a great album and clearly Dave East is still giving it burn. The New York emcee adds a verse to the beginning of track but leaves the rest unaltered.
East keeps the theme alive on his “East Remix,” rapping about taking women who aren’t used to the high life on private jets, and the behavior they respond with.
Dave East has been going in on popular records recently, including Kanye West’s “Real Friends,” Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” and Chris Brown’s “Sex You Back To Sleep.” He clearly isn’t intimidated, going after the most popular artists’ most popular songs.
