Jacquees has proved himself as one of R&B's most promising young voices, and after linking up with Birdman, he's looking at a bigger reach than ever. Today, he's shared "Ex Games," a very traditional slow jam that would fall flat with a less technically capable singer. Luckily, Jacquees has a strong, expertly controlled voice, allowing him to pull of some intricate melodies, sounding like a young Usher on the mid-register ballad.
The track will appear on the singer's upcoming Mood project, set to arrive January 25th. The project will feature guest appearances from Birdman, Kevin Gates, Young Scooter, Dej Loaf, Rich Homie Quan, and Kirko Bangz. Check back here for the project when it drops next week.
