P Reign releases another track, "I Belong to You," leading up to his "Off the Books" mixtape.

Every Thursday, Toronto's P Reign had been dropping new music ahead of his upcoming mixtape, Off the Books. In the past weeks, he's released the politically-charged "Live Forever" as well as the heartbroken lament "I Want You Back." His latest, "I Belong to You," is also on the romantic side, though it's a slow jam suited for late-night encounters with your main squeeze.

The beat comes from Reps Up producer Pro Logic as well as Bass Line, and it incorporates wavy synths, intermittent hi-hat rollouts, and a sample from Nothing Was the Same's "Furthest Thing," likely cleared from Drizzy himself. P Reign has been working his name back into the conversation regarding the hottest artists up in the 6, and he'd do well to continue releasing such emotionally expressive material.

Look out for Off the Books soon.

Quotable Lyrics

I, I mean I met you, want your number and address
To undress you, you're a mess?
Well here's a message, I'm a mess too
Ride 'til I can't forget you
Fuck 'til I can't forget it
