A couple of weeks back we got the lead single off Symba&#8217;s upcoming album &#8212; an <a href="http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/symba-how-you-rockin-feat-iamsu-new-song.1965957.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Iamsu!-assisted West Coast banger</a> &#8212; which we quickly took quite a liking to. Today, he&#8217;s back with the follow-up, switching his production style from the Bay Area knock of &#8220;<a href="http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/symba-how-you-rockin-feat-iamsu-new-song.1965957.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">How You Rockin</a>&#8221; to a more textural sound.
&#8220;We Ready&#8221; creeps along steadily, as some sampled and heavily filtered vocals play throughout, serving as a contrasting earworm to Symba&#8217;s hard rhymes. That is, until the rapper busts out some melodies himself, proving himself as a strong singer and hook-writer.  Symba some thoughts on the song&#8217;s message via email; “‘We Ready&#8217; is a hustler’s anthem, it’s basically saying we ready to take on whatever is in our way, to get to where we wanna be, we don’t care what it is -We Ready for it.” Look out for his new album, 2 More Words, to drop September 4th.
