Boots is a mysterious signee of Roc Nation, who is almost single-handedly responsible for much of Beyonce's high-selling self-titled album (Pharrell, The-Dream etc all had a hand too, but Boots is credited as a writer and producer for basically every song off Beyonce). There are almost no photographs of Boots to be found on the internets, however, he has started releasing music of his own on his Soundcloud page (his first official release was only three months ago).
His bio on Roc Nation's website is equally unhelpful for those who want to learn more about him, as it simply reads, "BOOTS was born in the mouth of an 808." His Soundcloud page says he's from NYC.
He definitely has an ear for r'n'b production, his latest post on Soundcloud is a soothing yet sad record, "My Heart Is A Stone Today", which finds Boots singing. But apparently he can also rap, although we may prefer his singing vocals.
He leaked a potential tracklist for an upcoming project the other day as well, so stay tuned as we will definitely be seeing more from Boots in the near future.
