It’s been a minute since we last heard any new music from Childish Gambino, but that maybe due to the fact he’s been busy concentrating on his acting skills this past year, including roles in "Magic Mike XXL," "The Martian" and Disney "XD’s Ultimate Spider-Man" to name a few. However, movies aren’t the only thing Donald is currently working on as he’s also been busy writing, producing and starring in a new series coming to FX this summer called Atlanta.
The show looks to center around Earnest “Earn” Marks (Donald Glover), a college dropout who returns to his hometown of Atlanta after a failing to become a rap star. However, while he was gone, it just so happens that his cousin becomes the city’s hottest new rapper.
Co-starring alongside Keith Stanfield, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Brian Tyree Henry and Zazie Beetz, Donald has been busy promoting “Atlanta” in the recent weeks, and gave FXM the first preview at the upcoming show. Unfortunately it’s not the best quality, but you definitely can get the hint. Check it out.
