DJ Khaled's We the Best radio on Beats 1 is giving OVO Sound a run for its money. Future's new album, EVOL, was premiered on episode 1, last week's installment included almost an hour of cloth talk with the great Nasir Jones, and episode 3, which went live on February 19, saw the debut of French Montana's new Wave Gods mixtape, hosted by the incarcerated Max B.
Also on episode 3, before he pressed play on Wave Gods, Khaled held a nearly 30-minute interview with Montana, for which the video stream has now become available. During the brotherly convo, which took place on a leather couch in Khaled's penthouse suite, French discussed his joint deal with Bad Boy and Maybach Music and gave details on his upcoming album, Mac & Cheese: The Album.
French also shed some light on exactly what it is Khaled does while in the studio with the game's top hitmakers: "I feel like you one of the few people who bring that energy out of everybody in the studio. You know, from Rozay, to me, to Future, to everybody."
