Adidas debuts new limited edition Messi "10/10" cleats celebrating the five time Ballon d'Or winner and the game’s greatest #10 of all time, Leo Messi.
Only 100 pairs of the new Messi 10/10 cleats have been produced worldwide in US size 8.5, the same size worn by Messi himself.
The special collector’s item will be available on Monday October 10 at 4PM ET at an adidas Soccer pop-up shop in New York City, in addition to adidas.com and select US retailers. They will cost $400 a pop.
The special edition cleats include an AgilityKnit material that molds around the foot within milliseconds and eliminates any unnecessary wear in time. A PureAgility sock system delivers explosive speed and agility by hiding the laces inside the boot. The Agility Sprintframe oustsole was developed with and for Messi and generates unstoppable traction and stability. These technical features have been incorporated to represent Messi's unique playing style.
This Messi 10/10 release marks the second iteration of a new tradition of collector’s edition Messi boots, which will drop every October 10th.
