Kap Kallous is generally known for his dark sound, but "1000 Times" is definitely a change of pace for the rapper. There's no mean-mugging to be found in the upbeat track's video, which instead finds Kallous taking on the roll of a lounge singer, bow-tie and all.
The song itself is also decidedly light-hearted, showcasing not only a very approachable side of the rapper, but also some sly melodies. Of course, he's backed up by a zombie-esque back-up band, because no matter what, there will always be at least a ting of darkness to his persona.
