John Singleton has come to the defense of R. Kelly.
In a new report from TMZ, the famed movie director doesn't see anything wrong with how R. Kelly has gone about acquiring several girlfriends. According to the Academy Award nominee, the women in question are adults who are capable of making adult decisions. When asked if Kelly deserved the Bill Cosby treatment, Singleton replied with an emphatic "Absolutely not."
Controversy continues to dog R. Kelly after the allegations of him supposedly masterminding a sex cult broke not too long ago. Timothy Savage, the father of one of Kelly's alleged captives, has made his presence felt even more, while additional accusations of Kelly making women pose nude for him have also surfaced.
