Karrueche Tran, who moved to file a restraining order against former boyfriend Chris Brown earlier this year, got her court date off on the wrong foot with the judge on Tuesday.
According to TMZ, the TV host tried to get her testimony to the judge via phone call, but she apparently didn't give enough notice in order to do this, which is usually 12 days prior to a hearing. She didn't show in person because she's currently shooting a TV show in New Orleans.
The judge told her that, in order to get a permanent restraining order against Brown, she would have to be there in the flesh or give proper notice. The case has been continued. She was expected to elaborate, on the record, on what she claims are a series of death threats and violent encounters between her and Brown.
As for Chris, he was also a no-show, with his lawyer claiming that his client was never served with legal documents.
