And you can't even escape the friend zone once.

The notorious Mexican drug lord, Joaquin Guzman aka "El Chapo," has been in prison since January, after successfully escaping twice. The 61-year old was originally sentenced to 20 years in prison for murder and drug trafficking in 1993.

In 2001, he paid off some guards to escape a maximum security prison and 13 years later he escaped through a tunnel. Today, rumors started flying around the internet that El Chapo had broke out for the third time and twitter lost it.

As it turns out, he's still locked up [allegedly], awaiting extradition to the United States on charges of money laundering, drug trafficking, kidnapping and murder in cities that include New York, Miami and Chicago.

In any event, the memes and comments that flooded twitter after rumors that El Chapo was free once again were absolutely hilarious.
