Just as we were heading into the weekend last week, a news report surfaced of Desiigner getting arrested on felony drug and gun charges. The G.O.O.D. Music signee is heavily buzzing right now, so it made the report all the more unfortunate-- however they weren't able to keep Desiigner down for long, the charges were (almost all) dropped within a day, and Desiigner celebrated as only he can-- by a bevvy of unintelligible ad-lib-like noises.
It looks like more fault may lie with the arresting police officer than with Desiigner. The gun charge was initially dropped because the police did not actually find a weapon on Desiigner or in his car, but that's not the only suspect part of this case. Apparently the pills the police found in Desiigner's car, which law enforcement claimed to be a mix of OxyContin, methadone and steroids, were actually only one of the above: steroids. Not only that, they belonged to Desiigner's driver, not the extremely-skinny rapper.
There were a variety of different kinds of steroids in the bag, 302 total, ranging from methandrostenolone, PharmOne Oxandrolone and Halotest Fluxymesteron.
As of now, Desiigner's intent to sell charge has been dropped, however his possession charge is still active. We'll have to see if the D.A. drops this charge as well, given this information.
