Chance The Rapper and Lil B's collection of freestyles was released two days ago, for free. Chalk-full of positive moments from both MCs, the tracks are more proof that these are two role models hip hop could definitely use.
Chance took to Facebook to release the project, saying, "It's called #Free and yes it's real. Conceived from magic, love, acid and based. We made this the moment we met."
A fruitful meeting of Lil B and Chance is about the only way we can see these two eccentric souls intertwining. It's a celebratory moment for both artists, but also for hip hop, as they take the positivity from their respective solo careers and combine them with a healthy dose of improvisation. The result is unlike anything we've ever heard, and we wanted to highlight some of the more positive moments of the tape.

Right off the bat, Lil B calls this a beautiful mixtape, and it is. Apparently created the moment these two kindred souls met, the free release is nothing short of beautiful. What's better than free music for the fans?

"Grocery shoppin' for my mama and daughter / I'm feelin' like I shouldn't have involved her / But now I'm movin' too quickly"
Chance might just be confirming that his baby on the way might just be a baby girl. At any rate, it's a kind thing to go grocery shopping for your mother and daughter, so big ups for that.
Chance The Rapper on "What's Next"
"I tell them light, it's gonna shine on you / Tell 'em more, watch that shit shine on you"
This line has probably been said in a gospel tune, sans the curse. Chance takes us to church at the beginning of "What's Next," letting the listener know that the light is going to shine on thee.

"Keep it positives, you lames gonna see that we not playing / chops in the air we gonna keep on spraying / Spraying for peace, man you know what I'm saying? You know that's all we living for: top of the window top of the elevator type shit. Looking through the window man, looking through the top of the roof you feel me? We're just taking chances man. It's our last chance man, you know what I'm saying? That's all we do every day man."
Lil B cuts his verse to kick a little spoken word. He's taking you to the tippy-top in his elevator, and with that uplifting beat it isn't hard to go up there with him. He ends the track by saying, "I know the world gonna love this man, you know what I'm saying? Just soak it in man, cause everything real, everything authentic, you feel me?" They're keeping it real and authentic, and it shows at their concerts and in their music.

What's more positive than peace? Chance let's us know where he and his followers stand.

These two have an awesome, albeit strange, chemistry. Hearing B boost Chance on "First Mixtape" is a beautiful thing.

"Lil B Loves the Based God" is the handle of B's Soundcloud account, and it isn't some coincidence. With mad love for everyone on earth, and the spirits that control things, Lil B let's you know that this is something from a higher power.

This one is a head full to take in, but Chance follows Lil B's spoken word with an uplifting message of his own. Feel the love oozing through your speakers.

The lyrics for this one are pretty out-there, but the feeling is definitely a calming one. It's super slow and minimal, almost ambient. It's a positive 9-minute journey through the crazy minds of these two MCs.

The fact that you heard Chance say this line makes him feel like he needs to thank you. It's deep and kind.
