In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, the rapper's fans have been begging the judge in his case to be lenient with the rapper, noting that he is a non-violent offender and should be allowed to serve the remainder of his sentence under home confinement. At the top of this week, it was revealed that Kodak Black avoided up to fifteen years in prison after his lawyer convinced the authorities in Florida to drop several weapons charges. Now, alongside his new song announcement, the Project Baby says he will soon return to freedom.

More importantly, Kodak issued an update on his status in prison, looking forward to the day he's out so that he can release all the projects he has in the works.

In the most recent update about his release from Big Sandy in Kentucky, Kodak was speculated to be heading to a halfway house next year. Maybe that plan has been pushed up.
