Prince's estate and Warner BNros are back at it again with another batch of demos plainly titled Originals. Many of the titles listed below are in fact songs that Prince bestowed upon his many protégés. So there's a good chance you're already familiar with Sheila E's "The Glamorous Life" or Morris Day's "Gigolos Get Lonely Too," but you've heard them as demo reels.

Prince's mentorship plan saw him make stars out of several of his protégés. Even his co-star in Purple Rain was given a musical platform to feed off of in the mid-80s, as evidenced by the inclusion of Prince's original demo for "Sex Shooter," a song he eventually gave to his on-screen love interest Apollonia (of Apollonia 6).
Beginning on June 7th, the demo compilation will stream exclusively on TIDAL, after which it will be released as a CD on June 21st courtesy of Warner Bros. Its final transformation will occur on July 19 when it gets pressed on vinyl.
